Out with the old, in with the new....

Hhmmm, just a few short weeks ago I had a fantastic couple out with me looking at properties. They were from the Chicago area. At one point, the wife spoke up and asked if Raleigh was following the current trend of tearing down old homes to build new which was the case in her father's neighborhood in Illinois area. I answered no and that I was very proud of how Raleigh is big into protecting and preserving older neighborhoods and that it wasn't very common here. Shortly after that there was an article in the News and Observer to quite the contrary. I was quick to email that link to them and let them know that I mis-spoke. Well, several weeks later there is yet another article regarding "infill". Apparently it wasn't enough for me to say I was srong - now I have to admit that I was REALLY wrong.....hey, I can do that!

ANNOUNCEMENT!

Hello all of my faithful readers!

As of late I have received many queries for Luxury Homes in the Raleigh area. Due to the requests I have decided to revamp a portion of my website to accomodate this most exciting niche. In addition, I have added another blog to my arsenal of marketing which will target the high-end homes in the area. I sincerely hope that you will take the time to visit these new ventures of mine and contribute to their success as you have with The Pink Oyster!

The Luxury Raleigh Homes portion of my website will hopefully be completed by mid-week. I invite you to take a peek and I would love any and all feedback!

Thanks again - you are all very valued friends and I would not have been able to do it without you!

A very grateful shucker.....
